we use locally salvaged scrap metal which is melted down into brass sheets & repurposed for our jewellery pieces using a hammered brass technique. each piece is gold plated & coated with a water-based sealant to help prevent oxidation.
due to the handmade nature, slight variations may occur from piece to piece. please note that our kibera collection bears the unique marks of our artisans who craft these pieces in the slums — such as minor nicks & imperfections, showcasing the authenticity & craftsmanship of each piece. embrace the individuality & celebrate the human touch that makes each creation a one-of-a-kind expression of art & resilience.
